A skilled singer songwriter, Peter Rowan's musical wanderings have taken
him through many styles of song. For years, he was one of Bill Monroes
original Bluegrass Boys. One of his greatest accomplishments was when he
collaborated with Jerry Garcia, of the Greatful Dead, Vassar Clements and
David Grisman on the album "Old and in the Way. It is still the biggest
selling bluegrass album of all time. Interestingly, Peter is a Tibetan
Buddhist and will be doing a retreat here before and after his performance.
