The Saguache County Tourism Board was created by the Saguache County Commissioners to promote tourism in Saguache County. The funding disbursed by the Tourism Board comes from a 1.9% lodging tax collected by the lodging establishments in the County. We provide seed money and development support for events such as the Crestone Music Festival, the Saguache Fall Festival, the Saguache County Museum Memorial Day Event and the Crestone Winterfest Celebration.
   We promote area attractions, businesses and events on our website www.saguache.org and with listings on www.colorado.com and links to other regional tourism sites. We also coordinate with other tourism boards in the San Luis Valley on joint promotions to reach more potential visitors.
